ShopCursor is built so that there is very little about you to hold. This page describes what actually happens, not what a template says usually happens.

No accounts, no tracking cookies

There is no sign-up and no login. We set no advertising or analytics cookies and run no third-party tracking scripts on this site.

What your shopping session is

What you type becomes a structured description of the decision you are making — the product, the budget, the brands you ruled in or out. That description travels with each request and is returned to your browser; it is not stored on a server under your name, because there is no name attached to it.

What is processed, and by whom

• Your typed request. Sent to our server to be interpreted. For requests our own logic cannot resolve, the sentence is also sent to our language model provider (OpenAI) purely to interpret its meaning. It is not used to train their models, and it is not stored for retrieval by us.
• Operational logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records standard request data such as IP address and timing, used for security and rate limiting. We do not join those records to shopping sessions.

When you leave for a retailer

Following an outbound link takes you to that retailer’s site, where their privacy policy applies. If the link is an affiliate link, the retailer may set a cookie so a resulting purchase is attributed to us. See our affiliate disclosure.

Your rights and contact

Because we hold no account data, there is normally nothing to export or delete. For any privacy question, or to ask what we hold, write to privacy@shopcursor.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
